Windtech Zephyr PW Paramotor Wing
Zephyr has been an amazing
wing in the intermediate class since the beginning. It has proven itself as very
solid, stable and fun wing for recreational pilots. With ultimate ease of
launch, simple ground-handling characteristics and uncompromising passive safety
the new version of the Zephyr Paramotor Wing is the best choice for your
paramotor adventures. The superior speed of this wing is well known and
now you can have an ultra fast glider with the safety of a basic intermediate
wing certified EN B.
Not only does the Zephyr PW excel on trim speed but the direct handling
still remains forgiving for intermediate pilots. High stability in pitch
and roll and the absorption of the torque movement makes this wing your
perfect companion for the long flights.
The trim speed is the highest among all the wings and the glide ratio is
clearly above 9 as it is proved and tested by the best magazines worldwide. The
new line set up makes possible to keep the overall consumption below 300 m. a
record in its class! improving this figures by 10 to 20% with respect to the
other concurrency wings. This and the implement of a new airfoil with a thin
trailing edge improves the airflow and we can achieve performances till now only
possible in competition wings.
Certified EN B in all sizes (size L is A at max load) proves the great
behavior of this wing. The shorter line length makes the take off behavior a
child's game since the wing rises faster and the new inner structure of the
profiles and V-ribs with reduced use of fabric saves weight while maintaining
durable and long wear materials.

| A high arc to improve safety at
full speed and better thermal capacities and high Aspect Ratio (5.4) to
achieve superior glide. New line set up with 2 cascades and noticeable
low line consumption to reduce drag and achieve a flatter polar at
maximum speed. Reworks of the trailing and leading edge sail tension for
a cleaner sail surface at all speeds.
|
| New brake geometry to improve handling and
reduce brake physical effort. New airfoil leads to higher resistance to
collapses and better balance overall while improving comfort and
usability. Only 3 thin risers with kevlar inner reinforcement and light
weight ultra smooth and friendly to use speed system with a light
pressure speed bar. |
